Settings

Accessing Settings

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open the Settings page. The page is divided into four cards:

• Access & License — shows your current plan and lets you enter a license key to activate or upgrade
• Appliance Updates — shows the installed version, latest known version, and controls to check for or install updates
• Backup & Restore — export a configuration backup or restore from an existing one
• Preferences — browser-local UI preferences such as tab style and live stream toggles

Access & License Card

This card shows your current access mode (Free or a paid plan name). If you are on the Free plan, it shows a key input field where you can enter a license key and click Activate to switch to a paid plan. If you are already on a paid plan, it shows your organization name and renewal date.

The appliance validates and refreshes the license automatically in the background — there is no manual refresh control needed for routine plan changes. Reload the dashboard after an upgrade to see updated limits immediately.

If upgrading hardware, use the Backup & Restore first-boot path — it re-binds the license to the new hardware automatically without any extra steps.
